New Sibshops Dates Announced – begins March 30th

We welcome families who have a child with a disability to register their child’s sibling for Sibshops. This new session starts Monday, March 30th. Each session is from 6 pm to 8 pm at Centre St. Church west campus: 4120 Centre St. N. Dates for the remaining five sessions are: April 13, 20, 27, May 4 and 11.

Children enjoy the special opportunity to play with and talk to their peers — other kids who really understand what their family life is like. Sibshops has a time-tested curriculum facilitated by social workers who help the children have fun and also share their experiences and feelings. After the Sibshops program is completed, many participants choose to stay involved through SibVentures, a monthly program.
